Surplus and Educational Need

Teachers:

  • Are you short on supplies for your classroom?

  • Would you like to teach hands-on-lessons?

  • Would you like to know what local businesses expect of your students?

  • Would you like to learn new ways to teach the Indiana State Standards?

  • Would you like to attend cost effective yet powerful workshops to enhance your classroom learning?

CORE provides all of this and more for teachers in northeast Indiana!  A $25 tax deductible membership to CORE will provide educators with a plethora of business surplus items at a fraction of the original cost. All types of educators can join CORE, teachers, coaches, home school parents, boy and girl scout leaders, daycare employees, craft directors, and many more.

The CORE facility will:

  • Provide a place for educators to shop for classroom supplies at a minimal cost.

  • Supply Idea Sheets that utilize donated goods as hands-on lessons aligned to the standards

  • Offer creative workshops that encourage hands-on teaching

  • Encourage CORE members to create relationships with local businesses

CORE is located at 1726 St Joe River Dr. next to Professional Federal Credit Union.

CORE will be hosting an Open House and Registration Party on Wednesday September 8th at 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. CORE invites everyone in the community to the the open house to visit our new and innovative store for educators.

The Grand Opening for CORE will be Saturday September 18th 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Educators can bring in the registration form (available below) and $25 and shop till you drop.

Print, fill out, and bring in this form to the Open House on September 8th or the Grand Opening on September 18th.
